A leading global retailer in Barcelona is seeking an experienced Area/Shift Manager to oversee team operations and maintain safety standards. Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and demonstrate strong data analysis and communication skills. This hands-on role requires collaboration with team members and other managers to optimize processes and customer service. The ideal candidate is proactive in driving productivity and fostering a positive team culture. Competitive compensation is offered.
When you join Amazon as an Area/Shift Manager, you’ll gain experience leading a large and diverse team to keep your area of the business on pace with demand. In this hands‑on role, you’ll learn the complexity of operations at a global business and the ingredients to make everything run seamlessly. As you implement your team’s approach to drive productivity, you’ll work closely with colleagues to address challenges, so no two days will be identical.
You’ll work shifts and be based at one of our operational sites. Your main focus will be to maintain safety standards within your team and across the site, monitor and maintain process efficiency, and handle priority routine team management and daily operational tasks. Other tasks include individual escalations, process improvement work and wide‑scale operational contingency planning.
Working with colleagues in other teams and external partners ensures we meet customer demands and targets. This involves analysing data and performance metrics with business area leaders and discussing operational implications of technical improvements with engineers.
