Airbus Defence and Space SAU in Madrid seeks a motivated avionics engineer to contribute to AOCS/GNC design and verification across Phases 0–E, with exposure to flight algorithms and hardware. You will develop prototype software in Matlab/Simulink (occasional C/Python), prepare design justifications and software requirements, and participate in reviews with customers and partners.

This role offers collaboration with electrical, thermal and mechanical teams within an open space and opportunities

Formación

• Degree in aerospace or related field.
• Dynamics/estimation/control concepts are preferred.
• GNC/AOCS project experience is advantageous.
• Matlab/Simulink experience required.
• Airbus collaboration experience is valued.

Responsabilidades

• Perform AOCS/GNC design, implementation, verification and validation for mission Phases 0–E.
• Produce design justifications and software requirements for AOCS/GNC algorithms.
• Develop prototype software, primarily in Matlab/Simulink, with occasional C or Python.
• Support reviews and workshops with customers, partners and stakeholders.
