Job summary

Talan Group in Spain is seeking an experienced Backend Java/Spring Boot Developer with Camunda 8 to join our growing engineering team. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend solutions, implementing Camunda BPMN processes and integrating with microservices.

The role requires 3+ years experience, English at C1, and hands-on work with Java 11+, Spring components, REST APIs, and CI/CD. You will collaborate in an Agile environment, participate in code reviews, and mentor junior

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Java/Spring Boot Developer with Camunda 8.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Experience in Agile environments using JIRA and Confluence.
• English proficiency at C1 level or above.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement business workflows using Camunda 8 BPMN.
• Develop scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to software architecture decisions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following engineering best practices.
• Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality.
• Participate in code reviews, QA initiatives, and Agile ceremonies.
• Refine user stories and technical requirements with the team.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Mentor and coach junior developers.
• Support software releases while ensuring quality and delivery.
