Valor Education seeks a Dyslexia Teacher to develop and implement IEPs and support students with dyslexia in a private setting in Spain. You will adapt lessons to individual needs and assess ongoing development, teaching small groups or individuals as required.

Position Overview

The Dyslexia Teacher will develop, implement, and update IEPs (Individual Education Programs) and work with 504s for students. Adapt lessons to particular student needs and assess their ongoing development. Teach students individually or in small groups according to the need for growth. Provide clear communication with school leaders, teachers, and families about individual student’s progress and ways to assist student growth. Other roles and duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with the needs and responsibilities of teaching students with dyslexia.
  • Texas Teaching Certificate with Reading Specialist Certification or certification in a multi-sensory structured language program for dyslexia (i.e. Wilson, Take Flight, Barton, Reading by Design, MTA, etc.)
  • Knowledge of dyslexia and instruction of students identified with dyslexia and related needs.

Salary Range: Per Year
