i2CAT Foundation is seeking an Innovation Business Developer with an engineering background to lead the dual-use strategy and transform disruptive technologies into strategic solutions. You will architect R&D&I projects shaping national and international digital sovereignty.

Responsibilities include full sales cycles, stakeholder management, road map definition, and cross-functional collaboration to bring research to market, within a hybrid work environment and strong language requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 5 years in business development, strategic consulting, or innovation management.
• Solid understanding of 5G/6G architectures, AI, and cybersecurity.
• Advanced level of English and Spanish (C1). Catalan proficiency required for professional settings.

Responsabilités

• Identify and prospect opportunities within the dual-use domain, linking civil and defense sectors.
• Lead the full sales and pre-sales cycle from needs to proposals.
• Define the road map for the dual-use sector aligning capabilities with market demands.
• Manage relationships with stakeholders across corporate industries, tech SMEs, and public orgs.
• Represent i2CAT at innovation forums and position the center as a sovereign tech partner.
• Collaborate with research teams to translate R&D into market-ready products and services.
