Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking a Service Manager for Integrations Data & Repository to lead the lifecycle of IT products and services within the Digital Support Center. The role focuses on resilient data flows, efficient information exchange, and alignment with Airbus's digital ecosystem.

The incumbent will drive continuous release management, ensure end-user advocacy, and translate vision into a prioritized backlog in partnership with business owners.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in Project and Portfolio management.
• Knowledge of data management principles: data modelling, data warehousing, ETL, SQL/NoSQL.
• Experience with repository management systems (Git, SVN, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and data/integration services.
• Proven ability to lead collaborative technical teams.
• Strong communication, stakeholders mgmt, and problem-solving skills.
• Spanish fluent, English essential; German/French a plus.

Job Description:

TDSC is looking for a Service Manager for Integrations Data & Repository to guide the development, delivery, and lifecycle management of integration, data, and repository services within our Digital Support Center. This role ensures the resilient and efficient flow of information across Airbus's digital ecosystem.

Our mission is to deliver Digital Systems and IT Activities focused on the Asset Readiness Support Center, which designs for service and delivers reliable integrated product support for all customers and aircraft, thus improving availability and serviceability to enable mission readiness at a lower life cycle cost.

Relevant business processes/capabilities include:

• Reliability- & maintainability engineering and maintenance planning
• Logistic Support analysis (LSA), Initial Provisioning (IP)
• Technical data/publications, Ground support & test equipment (GSTE)
• Life cycle cost (LCC) analysis
• Customer portals and customer technical support
• Service Bulletins provisioning

Job Responsibilities:

• Guides the IT Product/Application or Service MFT team to manage the IT Product/Application or Service lifecycle, collaboratively developing the products/services and operating them to meet operational SLAs.
• Accountable for Continuous Release Management.
• Ensures the participation of an End User Advocate with an understanding of users and use cases, and ensures solutions that best serve both.
• Ensures that the known Product/Application or Service vision is translated into a prioritised backlog in alignment with the business product owner.

Job Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experienced in Project and Portfolio management.
• Comprehensive understanding of data management principles, including data modelling, data warehousing, data lakes, ETL processes, and database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
• Experience with repository management systems (e.g., Git, SVN, document management systems, artifact repositories).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data and integration services.
• Demonstrated experience in guiding and developing effective, collaborative technical teams.
• Effective and clear communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent/Professional working proficiency in Spanish is required, proficiency in English is essential; knowledge of German or French is a plus
