Job summary

Airbus Defence and Space SAU is seeking a professional to maintain and evolve our IT landscape across the end-to-end lifecycle, from analysis and design to deployment and operation. You will work within an international team delivering digital material solutions for sales, provisioning, planning, pricing and orders.

The role emphasizes DevOps practices, cross-functional collaboration, and strong technical skills in web and data technologies, with a hybrid working model where possible.

Digital (TD) delivers the digital expertise, technology and equipment for Airbus Defence and Space and Aerospace products – We make it fly! You will be part of the "Digital Material Solutions" team. At Airbus Defence and Space, this international team focuses on software development, service and application management. Our team members come from a wide range of areas and aim to offer users professional systems and services. In this area we develop systems to support the complete process of Sales of spares, Initial Provisioning, Planning and Demand, Costing and Pricing, Quotation, Order Administration, Delivery, and we design and develop system models to support the availability of material for In-Service Support (ISS) contract. With special focus in Performance based contracts. You will be part of an international team with a high level of commitment, very enthusiastic, dynamic and highly motivated. In this department there is a great diversity of projects and direct contact with our client (Customer Services and external customers) allowing us to acquire a high level of knowledge of the business area, which helps to achieve greater success by providing IT Solutions. In this frame, the jobholder will be responsible to maintain and evolve the System, making analysis of business requirements and functional design of the solution being involved in all phases of the product development (DevOps mind-set) to keep the Airbus IT landscape running smoothly, reliably, and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• In this area we develop systems to support the complete process of Sales of spares, Initial Provisioning, Planning and Demand, Costing and Pricing, Quotation, Order Administration, Delivery, and we design and develop system models to support the availability of material for In-Service Support (ISS) contract. With special focus in Performance based contracts.
• Responsible to maintain and evolve the System, making analysis of business requirements and functional design of the solution being involved in all phases of the product development (DevOps mind-set) to keep the Airbus IT landscape running smoothly, reliably, and efficiently.
• Accountable for the End to End Product/Application or Service lifecycle, from conception, design, industrialization, operation to retirement including management of dependencies.
• Responsible for Multi Functional Teams formation in order to manage the IT Product/Application or Service lifecycle; identify opportunities and create a product or a Service that satisfies the client/end user including Time, Quality and Cost of the Product.
• Leads the IT Product/Application or Service MFT team in order to manage the IT Product/Application or Service lifecycle, both developing the products/services and operating them to meet operational SLA's.
• Responsible for Continuous Release Management.
• Knowledge of DevOps is expected; ensures the participation of an End User Advocate with understanding of users and use, and ensures solutions that best serves both.
• Translates the known Product/Application or Service vision into a prioritized backlog in alignment with the business product owner; defines chargeback models for their respective IT Products/Applications or Services; defines and go-to-market of the product and service (line).

• Good coordination and relational skills, tenacity, presentation skills (both oral and written), high adaptability-flexibility.
• Take ownership.
• Negotiation level of Spanish and English is required.
• Good communication skills.
• Export Control knowledge is a plus.
• A security clearance is required for this activity or must be issued by the responsible authorities.
