Amaris Consulting is seeking a Business Analyst – Connectivity & IoT to join our international team. You will collect and document functional and technical requirements in the connectivity domain and act as a bridge between business units and development teams.

You will participate in defining IoT solutions, create user stories and acceptance criteria, support project management, and contribute to testing. Fluent English required; based in or able to work from Barcelona.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and relevant experience in connectivity/IoT/digital transformation projects
• Experience gathering requirements, mapping processes, and writing functional specs
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and tools like Jira/Confluence
• Able to translate technical requirements for business stakeholders
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English; other languages a plus

Responsabilidades

• Collect, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements from business stakeholders in the connectivity domain
• Liaise between business units and technical/development teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Define and monitor IoT and connectivity solutions aligned with business goals
• Create and maintain functional documentation including user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
• Support project management activities: planning, follow-up on deliverables, and reporting
• Contribute to testing and validation to ensure requirements are met
• Identify areas for process improvement and propose innovative connectivity solutions

WHAT WOULD YOU NEED?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or functional consultant in connectivity, IoT, or digital transformation projects
• Strong knowledge of IoT architecture concepts and connectivity protocols (MQTT, REST APIs, HTTP, etc.)
• Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and writing functional specifications
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence
• Ability to bridge technical and business teams, translating complex requirements into actionable solutions
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Based in or able to work from Barcelona
