Amaris Consulting is seeking a Business Analyst – Connectivity & IoT to join an international team based in Barcelona. You will collect and document functional and technical requirements, bridge business and technical teams, and help define IoT and connectivity solutions aligned with strategic goals.

The role requires 2–4 years of BA experience in IoT or digital transformation, strong IoT protocol knowledge, and fluent English.

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/Telecommunications or related field.
• 2–4 years as a Business Analyst or functional consultant in connectivity/IoT projects.
• Strong knowledge of IoT architecture and connectivity protocols.
• Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and writing specs.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and Jira/Confluence.

Responsabilidades

• Collect, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements in connectivity domain.
• Act as liaison between business units and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Define and monitor IoT solutions aligning with business goals.
• Create and maintain user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Support planning, follow-up on deliverables, and reporting to stakeholders.
• Contribute to testing and validation to ensure requirements are met.
• Identify process improvements and propose solutions; participate in Agile ceremonies.

WHAT WOULD YOU NEED?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst or functional consultant in connectivity, IoT, or digital transformation projects
• Strong knowledge of IoT architecture concepts and connectivity protocols (MQTT, REST APIs, HTTP, etc.)
• Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and writing functional specifications
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira or Confluence
• Ability to bridge technical and business teams, translating complex requirements into actionable solutions
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
• Based in or able to work from Barcelona

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Collect, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements from business stakeholders in the connectivity domain
• Act as the liaison between business units and technical/development teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Participate in the definition and monitoring of IoT and connectivity solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Create and maintain functional documentation including user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria
• Support project management activities: planning, follow-up on deliverables, and reporting to stakeholders
• Contribute to the testing and validation phases, ensuring solutions meet defined requirements
• Identify areas for process improvement and propose innovative solutions within the connectivity ecosystem
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives)
