Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a Digital & AI Project Manager to orchestrate global Data & AI IT projects, serving as the main liaison with business stakeholders and ensuring seamless delivery across internal and external teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (Primary).
• SCRUM certification (Secondary).
• ITIL v3 certified.
• Minimum 5 years in Project Management, ideally within digital transformation and AI environments.
• Proven experience with offshore outsourcing and global project rollouts.
• Demonstrated ability to design target operating models and manage digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience translating technical \"Data Science\" concepts for executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project management artifacts including timelines, deliverables, and communication plans.
• Drive governance and executive support, serving as the link between technical teams and leadership to ensure alignment and compliance.
• Assess project capacity, identify resource gaps, and coordinate team backfills as needed.
• Liaise with procurement, vendor management, and external implementation partners for seamless project execution.
• Prepare and manage Steering Committee (SteerCo) briefings, agendas, and decision logs.
• Create and deliver high-impact external presentations for conferences, board meetings, and client digital transformation showcases.

Overview of the Role

The Digital & AI Project Manager plays a pivotal role in orchestrating global Data & AI IT projects, serving as the central point of contact for business stakeholders and ensuring seamless delivery across internal and external teams. Detailed Responsibilities

• Act as the single point of contact for assigned Data & AI projects, coordinating delivery to meet business requirements.
• Develop and maintain project management artifacts including timelines, deliverables, and communication plans.
• Drive governance and executive support, serving as the link between technical teams and leadership to ensure alignment and compliance.
• Assess project capacity, identify resource gaps, and coordinate team backfills as needed.
• Liaise with procurement, vendor management, and external implementation partners for seamless project execution.
• Prepare and manage Steering Committee (SteerCo) briefings, agendas, and decision logs.
• Create and deliver high-impact external presentations for conferences, board meetings, and client digital transformation showcases.
• Ensure smooth operational transition and service handover post-project completion.
• Design and produce executive-level slides and visual assets to effectively communicate project status and outcomes.
• Build, update, and review business cases and benefits, including cost estimates and timeline projections; track project costs and financial performance.
• Generate service and project status reports; follow up on service delivery issues to ensure expectations are met.
• Remove obstacles impacting stakeholder satisfaction or financial performance.
• Adhere to PMO guidelines, sharing detailed project status, cost, milestones, schedule, and scope information.
• Interface with security, finance, procurement, vendor management, and business demand managers to align priorities and support functions.

Skill Requirements

Educational Background:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.

Certifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (Primary).
• SCRUM certification (Secondary).
• ITIL v3 certified.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years in Project Management, ideally within digital transformation and AI environments.

• Understanding of Large Language Model (LLM) lifecycles and data tokenization.

• Financial and Vendor Governance: Commercial SOWs, RFP evaluations, budget tracking, CAPEX/OPEX management.
• Comprehension of AI platforms, multi-cloud infrastructure, and foundational components.
