Job summary

T-Systems Iberia is seeking a skilled DNS/DevOps specialist to join our Mobile DNS Squad. You will help operate and evolve Deutsche Telekom's critical DNS infrastructure across on-premises and cloud-like environments in a hybrid work setup in Spain.

You will collaborate with suppliers, DevOps and operations teams to design, deploy, monitor and troubleshoot the Mobile DNS platform, applying automation and robust monitoring to ensure high availability and resilience.

Qualifications

• DNS technologies such as BIND, PowerDNS, DoH/DoT/DoQ.
• Strong Ansible automation experience.
• IP networking, routing, LAN/WAN and Wireshark troubleshooting.
• Monitoring with Grafana, CheckMK and Telegraf.
• Linux administration, Red Hat 9 and SUSE 15.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in agile teams.
• Telecoms industry experience valued.

Join the Mobile DNS Squad responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle, operation and evolution of Deutsche Telekom's critical DNS infrastructure.

You will work closely with suppliers, DevOps engineers and operations teams to design, integrate, deploy, monitor and troubleshoot the Mobile DNS platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and operate physical, virtualized and containerized systems.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and document incidents and system malfunctions.
• Improve automated failover, deployment and disaster recovery processes.
• Develop and optimize automation scripts using Ansible, Bash, Perl and Python.
• Implement changes across test, reference and production environments.
• Develop monitoring and data analysis capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure service reliability and resilience.

Mandatory Skills

• DNS technologies: BIND, PowerDNS, DoH, DoT and DoQ.
• Strong Ansible automation experience.
