Envirorec is recruiting a Mid-Level DevOps Engineer to join our international tech team in Madrid. You will build, automate, deploy and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and production software platforms using AWS, Terraform and Kubernetes.

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote, enabling collaboration with software and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable services and robust CI/CD pipelines for enterprise systems.

Qualificações

• 2-5 years of professional DevOps/SRE or cloud platform experience.
• Strong hands-on AWS experience with EKS and cloud services.
• IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation; container orchestration with Docker/Kubernetes.

Responsabilidades

• Build, maintain and optimise secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Deploy, manage and troubleshoot containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Design, implement and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Monitor production environments using Grafana, Prometheus and other observability tools.
• Investigate production incidents, identify root causes and improve system reliability.
• Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash or Go.
• Support the deployment, performance and scalability of production APIs and enterprise software platforms.
• Collaborate with software engineers and infrastructure teams to improve development and delivery processes.

Location: Madrid (with 1 day travel per week 1hr from Madrid)

Salary: Up to €50,000 base + up to 20% annual bonus

Working arrangements: Hybrid 3 days a week in office, 2 days WFH

Working language: English (Spanish is useful but not essential)

Working rights: EU Citizens only due to security clearance requirements

Key Responsibilities

• 2-5 years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Platform Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure.
• Strong hands‑on production experience with AWS.
• Commercial experience using Terraform or CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including deployments, administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Scripting experience with Python, Bash or Go.
• Experience with production monitoring, incident management and infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• EU citizenship is mandatory due to security‑clearance requirements.
• Experience with AWS EKS and Kubernetes cluster administration.
• Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch or similar monitoring technologies.
• Experience managing high‑availability infrastructure and production APIs.
• Familiarity with infrastructure security, DevSecOps and GitOps.
