AXON Networks in Madrid is seeking a DevOps Engineer to manage and automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of our software platforms. You will collaborate with development, QA and delivery teams to ensure seamless CI/CD and robust cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure and GCP.

You will build infrastructure as code with Terraform and Ansible, script in Python and Bash, and participate in on-call rotations to support production systems while interacting with customers and internal

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years in a DevOps or equivalent role.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Linux environments.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer that will play a crucial role in managing and automating thedeployment, monitoring, and maintenance of our software applications. You will work closely withdevelopment, quality assurance and deployment teams to ensure seamless integration anddelivery of software products, and you can also expect to interact directly with engineering teamsof our customers to install, configure and operate the deployed software platforms.
To succeed in this role, the candidate needs to be self-confident, hands-on and eager to learn,outgoing and feel comfortable working closely with Delivery, Product Management and R&DTeams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, configure and operate cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure highavailability, scalability and observability.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performanceand reliability.
• Collaborate with development and delivery teams to design and implementinfrastructure as code using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Ensure security best practices are followed in all aspects of the infrastructure anddeployment processes.
• Actively document daily activities in JIRA and demonstrate a willingness to develop andmaintain comprehensive documentation for all internal tools.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for production systems andcollaborate with DevOps team located in the USA of a frequent basis
• Provide support for the installation, configuration and testing of AXON Networks products and solutions in cloud platforms and in the data centers of AXON Networks customers (interventions outside of usual business hours can be expected occasionally)
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deploymentprocesses.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./M.S. Computer Science or related field
• At least 4 years of experience in an equivalent role
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Very comfortable working on of Linux environments.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash).
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with database management systems (Oracle, MongoDB, Clickhouse)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Fluency in both Spanish and English (spoken and written)
• Proficiency in providing technical support, gathering requirements, and presentingresults to both technical and non-technical customers
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams (Sales, ProductManagement, Delivery, R&D Teams, etc.)
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Open to hybrid work in Madrid.
