AXON Networks in Madrid is seeking a DevOps Engineer to manage and automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of our software platforms. You will collaborate with development, QA and delivery teams to ensure seamless integration and reliable releases.

You will implement infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible), maintain CI/CD pipelines, and ensure security and observability across AWS, Azure, and GCP. Fluency in Spanish and English and willingness to work hybrid in Madrid are required.

Formación

• B.Sc./M.S. in Computer Science or related field.
• 4+ years in a DevOps/Cloud-focused role.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Very comfortable working on Linux environments.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash).
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with database management systems (Oracle, MongoDB, Clickhouse).
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Fluency in both Spanish and English (spoken and written).
• Ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer that will play a crucial role in managing and automating the deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of our software applications. You will work closely with development, quality assurance and deployment teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software products, and you can also expect to interact directly with engineering teams of our customers to install, configure and operate the deployed software platforms.

To succeed in this role, the candidate needs to be self-confident, hands-on and eager to learn, outgoing and feel comfortable working closely with Delivery, Product Management and R&D Teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage, configure and operate cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) to ensure high availability, scalability and observability.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with development and delivery teams to design and implement infrastructure as code using tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Ensure security best practices are followed in all aspects of the infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Actively document daily activities in JIRA and demonstrate a willingness to develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all internal tools.
• Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for production systems and collaborate with DevOps team located in the USA of a frequent basis
• Provide support for the installation, configuration and testing of AXON Networks products and solutions in cloud platforms and in the data centers of AXON Networks customers (interventions outside of usual business hours can be expected occasionally)
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.

Qualifications

• B.Sc./M.S. Computer Science or related field
• At least 4 years of experience in an equivalent role
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Very comfortable working on of Linux environments.
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash).
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with database management systems (Oracle, MongoDB, Clickhouse)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI
• Fluency in both Spanish and English (spoken and written)
• Proficiency in providing technical support, gathering requirements, and presenting results to both technical and non-technical customers
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams (Sales, Product Management, Delivery, R&D Teams, etc.)
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Open to hybrid work in Madrid.
