NTT DATA Europe & Latam is seeking a DevOps Engineer (AWS Cloud Engineer) to join an international team. You will design, build, and optimize AWS cloud environments, focusing on automation, security, and reliable platform delivery across scalable, cloud-native infrastructures.

The role requires strong Terraform IaC use, GitLab CI/CD proficiency, and Python development. Expect collaboration with global teams, adherence to DevSecOps practices, and continuous learning in a dynamic tech landscape.

Formación

• Several years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or AWS Infrastructure roles.
• English level B2 or higher.
• Location: Barcelona, Madrid, Zaragoza; 1 day per week in Barcelona.
• Experience with Generative AI technologies and tools is a strong plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design and architect AWS infrastructure solutions following cloud best practices
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and GitLab CI
• Work with containerized and serverless architectures within AWS environments

At NTT DATA, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer (AWS Cloud Engineer) to join an international team working on modern, scalable cloud platforms and enterprise infrastructure solutions. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, build, and optimize AWS cloud environments, driving automation, security, and operational excellence while contributing to reliable and high-quality platform delivery.

Your responsibilities

• Design and architect AWS infrastructure solutions following cloud best practices
• Build and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and GitLab CI
• Work with containerized and serverless architectures within AWS environments
• Collaborate with international teams in English-speaking environments
• Implement cloud security controls and DevSecOps best practices
• Contribute to monitoring, logging, and observability strategies
• Support secure, scalable, and resilient cloud-native architectures
• Apply automation and infrastructure engineering best practices

Technical requirements

AWS Cloud & Infrastructure

Have to:

• Strong experience engineering and architecting AWS infrastructure solutions
• Hands-on experience with AWS Landing Zone concepts
• Strong knowledge of AWS networking, security services, and multi-account strategies
• Thorough understanding of AWS infrastructure and services including Fargate, Lambda, S3, WAF, KMS, Transit Gateway, IAM, AWS Config, and related cloud services
• Extensive knowledge of Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and design
• Experience with containerized and serverless architectures
• Proven experience writing high-quality Python code

Desirable:

• Experience with SIEM solutions, ideally Splunk
• Experience implementing AWS security and compliance services such as AWS Config, Inspector, and Network Firewall
• Understanding of Shift-left and DevSecOps approaches
• Knowledge of SBOM and SAST concepts

Code Management & CI/CD

Have to:

• Hands-on experience with GitLab and GitLab CI
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience automating cloud infrastructure deployment processes

Monitoring & Observability

Desirable:

• Experience with logging, monitoring, and alerting best practices
• Knowledge of industry-standard observability tools including Splunk, CloudWatch Logs, Prometheus, Grafana, Alert Manager, and PagerDuty

Generative AI

• Experience working with Generative AI technologies and tools, integrating AI capabilities into development workflows or operational processes.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted coding environments and developer productivity tools.
• Experience with Claude Code or similar AI coding assistants is a strong plus.
