Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost‑efficient infrastructure solutions.
- Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines, automating deployments, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Take ownership of cloud environment availability, performance, and cost‑efficiency.
- Collaborate with backend, QA, and product teams.
- Participate in daily standups and planning sessions.
- Address vulnerabilities from penetration tests; manage secrets and IAM policies.
- Explore new DevOps tools, AWS features, and industry trends.
- Share insights and help evolve infrastructure strategy as the company grows.
Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) focus
- Hands‑on with cloud environments, ensuring security, cost‑efficiency, and performance.
- Design and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket Pipelines → GitHub Actions).
- Build Docker‑based deployment workflows (ECR, ECS, load balancers).
- Monitor system reliability with Kibana and OpenSearch.
- Manage messaging and database infrastructure (RabbitMQ, SQS, SNS, PostgreSQL).
- Apply cost‑optimization strategies.
- Ensure security best practices and resolve penetration test findings.
- Write automation scripts (bash, JavaScript, or TypeScript).
- Provide on‑call support for production incidents.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
- At least 5 years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure role.
- Ownership‑oriented, proactive, detail‑focused mindset.
- Passion for automation, optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Expert in AWS (ECS, ECR, S3, EC2, Load Balancers, IAM, CloudWatch).
- Hands‑on with Terraform and IaC practices.
- Strong CI/CD pipeline experience (Bitbucket Pipelines, GitHub Actions).
- Proficiency with Docker, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, SQS, SNS, Kibana, OpenSearch.
- Solid scripting in bash, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Node.js and NPM ecosystem.
- Understanding of security best practices and incident response.
