Job summary

People Group in Marbella, Costa del Sol, is seeking a Development Director to lead the planning, development and delivery of ultra-luxury residential projects in Spain.

The role requires steering large-scale developments from concept through construction, coordinating with architects, consultants, contractors, investors and local authorities, and delivering exceptional outcomes with strategic oversight and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

Are you an experienced real estate development professional with a strong track record of delivering high-end residential projects in Spain?

We’re working with an international luxury real estate developer seeking a Development Director to lead the planning, development and delivery of exceptional residential projects in one of Spain’s most prestigious markets.

The business is an exclusive ultra-luxury villa development near Marbella, Spain.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an established senior development professional who combines strong construction and development expertise with the commercial and leadership skills to deliver complex, large-scale projects.

We’re looking for someone with:

• Extensive experience in both real estate development and construction within the Costa del Sol market.
• A proven track record of leading large-scale residential developments and master-planned communities.
• At least 10 years’ experience in development planning, project execution and delivery.
• Evidence of having successfully delivered at least one major project from planning through to construction and completion.
• Strong leadership, commercial acumen and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience working with architects, consultants, contractors, investors and local authorities.
• A degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Real Estate Development or a related discipline.
• Fluency in Spanish and the existing right to work in Spain.

Experience delivering high-end or ultra-luxury residential developments is highly desirable. Previous experience in the GCC would also be advantageous, although it is not essential.
