Hero in Alcantarilla, Spain seeks a Demand Planning Specialist to shape forecasts, drive forecast excellence, and optimize inventory across Supply and Customer Service teams. You will translate market insights into actionable plans, monitor deviations, and support cost-efficient production.

Fluency in Spanish and English is preferred, with a data-driven mindset and 2+ years in planning or BI roles. You will work in a hybrid setup, collaborating with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align demand

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in business/engineering/statistics or related field.
• Data-driven professional who turns insights into action.
• Experience with forecasting software and ERP or statistical tools is a plus.

Shape Tomorrow's Demand

• You will analyze market trends, purchasing behaviors, sales performance, and economic factors to build accurate demand forecasts that support business success.

Connect Strategy with Execution

• You will partner with Sales, Marketing, and Sales Strategy teams to capture key market insights and translate them into reliable forecasting plans.

Drive Forecast Excellence

• You will monitor forecasting performance, identify deviations, and champion corrective actions that continuously improve forecast accuracy and business responsiveness.

Optimize Supply & Inventory

• You will collaborate closely with Supply teams to improve inventory management, reduce operational risks, and support cost-efficient production planning.

Champion Customer Satisfaction

• You will contribute to resolving service challenges alongside Customer Service and commercial teams, helping deliver an outstanding customer experience.

Lead Continuous Improvement

• You will identify opportunities to enhance processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen the way demand planning supports business growth.

Who You Are

Data-Driven Decision Maker

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• You thrive when working with data and enjoy transforming insights into practical business actions.

Forecasting & Planning Professional

• You bring at least 2 years of experience in Demand Planning, Business Intelligence, or analytical/strategic commercial roles.
• Experience with forecasting software, ERP systems, or statistical tools is considered an advantage.

Excel Power User

• You are an expert Excel user who can confidently manage and interpret large datasets.
• Experience with Power BI is a strong plus.

Cross-Functional Team Player

• You are fluent in Spanish and have C1-level English proficiency, enabling you to communicate effectively across different teams and stakeholders.
• You are a true team player who enjoys collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Finance to turn insights into business decisions and drive shared success.

Analytical Problem Solver

• You combine strong analytical thinking with a proactive mindset.
• You stay focused under pressure and consistently deliver high-quality results on time.

Growth & Improvement Champion

• Previous experience within the food industry or FMCG environment is highly valued.
