Hero Group in the Murcia/Alcantarilla area is seeking a Demand Planning Specialist to forecast demand, analyze market trends, and align Supply and Sales to drive service levels and profitability.

You will work with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance in a data-driven, collaborative environment, using Excel and Power BI to transform insights into actionable plans. A fixed-term contract with opportunities to grow in a dynamic FMCG setting.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
• You thrive when working with data and enjoy transforming insights into practical business actions.
• You bring at least 2 years of experience in Demand Planning, Business Intelligence, or analytical/strategic commercial roles.
• Experience with forecasting software, ERP systems, or statistical tools is considered an advantage.
• You are an expert Excel user who can confidently manage and interpret large datasets.
• Experience with Power BI is a strong plus.
• You are fluent in Spanish and have C1-level English proficiency, enabling you to communicate effectively across different teams and stakeholders.
• You are a true team player who enjoys collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance to turn insights into business decisions and drive shared success.
• You combine strong analytical thinking with a proactive mindset.
• You stay focused under pressure and consistently deliver high-quality results on time.
• You are collaborative, empathetic, and committed to continuous improvement.
• Previous experience within the food industry or FMCG environment is highly valued.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze market trends, purchasing behaviors, sales performance, and economic factors to build accurate demand forecasts.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Sales Strategy teams to translate insights into forecasting plans.
• Monitor forecasting performance, identify deviations, and champion corrective actions that improve forecast accuracy and responsiveness.
• Collaborate closely with Supply teams to improve inventory management and production planning.
• Contribute to resolving service challenges with Customer Service and commercial teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Identify opportunities to enhance processes and strengthen how demand planning supports growth.

• You will collaborate closely with Supply teams to improve inventory management, reduce operational risks, and support cost-efficient production planning.

Champion Customer Satisfaction

• You will contribute to resolving service challenges alongside Customer Service and commercial teams, helping deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• You will identify opportunities to enhance processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen the way demand planning supports business growth.

Who you are

Data-Driven Decision Maker

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.

Forecasting & Planning Professional

• You bring at least 2 years of experience in Demand Planning, Business Intelligence, or analytical/strategic commercial roles.
