Bacardi Limited in Spain seeks a Senior Demand Planner to own the regional forecast and lead the end-to-end demand plan for distributor markets, with a 0–24 month horizon and monthly granularity.

The role requires strong analytical skills, SAP BI/HANA/IBP and Power BI experience, fluent English, and a collaborative mindset to drive S&OP and coordinate across commercial, finance and supply chain.

  • Own the integrated demand plan for distributor markets, driving low-touch forecasting.
  • Drive continuous improvement of the demand planning process and align with global standards.
  • Partner with Commercial, Finance and Market Supply Chain to translate inputs into planning implications.
  • Lead S&OP monthly rhythm and provide insights on demand drivers.

RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE

Forecasting Demand

  • Provide the markets reliable ‘unemotional’ and ‘unpolitical’ baseline; focused on the full horizon of 0-24 months at monthly level buckets, including guidance and support to markets on ‘where to focus to make a difference’
  • Own the integrated demand plan for assigned distributor markets (Sell ‑ in / Depletions / Inventory context). Drive ‘no or low touch forecasting’ by setting the right parameters for exception-based planning.
  • Drive for execution, consolidate market intelligence, and commercial inputs into a single demand proposal. Continuous improvement of the demand planning process, challenge the status quo and drive new initiatives.
  • Gather, analysie and organize external data to e nsure demand plans reflect key drivers: promotions, events, innovation launches, and market ‑ specific dynamics.
  • Work with global CoE on strategic forecast improvement projects and system enhancement opportunities and ensure alignment with global and regional planning standards, templates, and calendars.
  • Act as the primary planning interface for Commercial, Finance, and Market Supply Chain.
  • Translate commercial inputs into planning implications and clearly articulate risks, assumptions, and scenarios.
  • Lead S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) monthly performance rhythm by providing impactful and clear insights in demand drivers for the region and the commercial team.

Demand Forecasting Expertise

  • Proficiency in forecasting techniques and tools (e.g., time series, regression)
  • Experience using demand planning software (SAP BI, HANA, IBP etc.)
  • Deep understanding of depletions‑based planning, inventory dynamics, and distributor behaviors

Business Acumen

  • Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management principles
  • Understanding of sales, marketing, and finance drivers that impact demand

  • Build the full picture, especially in a complex environment

  • Create E2E transparency for strategic decisions
  • Cross-functional collaboration (with sales, marketing, finance, supply chain)

Technical Proficiency

  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with ERP systems and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Advanced understanding of predictive analytical models
  • Fluent English a pre-requisite
  • Eastern Europe languages – Nice to have, not mandatory
