LONGi Solar seeks a BESS Delivery & Service Manager / Engineer for utility-scale projects. This role leads execution, commissioning, and ongoing operations support for large-scale battery energy storage systems after contract closure, coordinating with customers, EPCs, and suppliers.

Responsibilities include handover from sales, full lifecycle delivery, grid compliance, safety standards, and post-commissioning service planning.

Formación

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Engineering, or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy or power infrastructure projects.
• Experience with large-scale BESS, solar + storage, or grid infrastructure preferred.

BESS Delivery & Service Manager / Engineer - Utility Scale Projects

Position Overview

The BESS Delivery & Service Manager / Engineer (Utility Scale) is responsible for the execution and lifecycle support of large-scale battery energy storage projects after the project is secured by the sales and presales teams. The role manages the technical delivery, commissioning, and operational support of utility-scale BESS projects.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Handover from Sales / Presales

• Take ownership of projects after commercial contract closure.
• Grid requirements
• Performance guarantees
• Align with customers and internal teams on project execution strategy.

2. Project Execution & Delivery

• Manage the full lifecycle delivery of utility-scale BESS projects.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, integrators, and equipment suppliers.
• Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with technical specifications, grid requirements, and safety standards.
• Manage project risks and coordinate issue resolution.
• Oversee commissioning of utility-scale BESS including:
• System energization
• Grid compliance testing
• Performance testing
• Work with grid operators and technical partners to complete system integration.
• Ensure successful handover to operations.

4. Operations Support & Service Management

• Coordinate post-commissioning support and service activities.
• Manage long-term service plans and preventive maintenance.
• Monitor system performance and coordinate troubleshooting if needed.
• Interface with OEM technical teams for system diagnostics.

5. Stakeholder Coordination

• Act as the primary technical contact between:
• Customers
• EPC contractors
• Internal teams
• Ensure smooth communication and alignment across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Energy Engineering, or related field.
• 5-10 years experience in utility-scale renewable energy or power infrastructure projects.
• Experience with large-scale BESS, solar + storage, or grid infrastructure preferred.
• Strong understanding of:
• Grid integration
