A leading financial advisory firm in Madrid seeks a Manager for the SPA Financial Advisor Team. The role involves providing end-to-end deal assistance, recommending pricing mechanisms, and advising on completion accounts. Candidates should have a degree in Business, Economics, or Engineering, be fluent in English and Spanish, and possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills. The position requires 3-4 years of experience in financial due diligence or audit and proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and Alteryx. This is a full-time opportunity.

Formación

Overview

PwC Spain is the top financial advisor for M&A deals in Spain and is seeking a Manager to join the SPA (Sales and Purchase Agreement) Financial Advisor Team based in Madrid.

The SPA team is part of PwC's Transaction Services practice within the PwC's Deals solution. We have advised on over 200 deals in the past five years representing corporate and private equity clients. Our deep market understanding enables us to demonstrate value to our clients. The SPA team offers financial services globally with a growing team in Spain that is part of an international network.

Responsibilities
  • Provide end-to-end deal assistance helping clients manage pricing and completion risks from pre-deal to post-completion.
  • Recommend preferred pricing mechanisms (locked box vs completion accounts).
  • Identify and analyze key items in price negotiations and determine financial parameters (target working capital cash, restricted cash net debt, working capital, etc).
  • Advise on preparation of completion accounts and post-closing process.
  • Act as an independent expert in case of disagreement between buyer and seller regarding completion accounts.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Business, Economics, or Engineering.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (day-to-day work mainly in English).
  • 3-4 years of experience in financial due diligence or audit.
  • Strong analytical skills and commercial awareness.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with Excel, Power BI, and Alteryx.
  • Working international experience is a plus.
