About AWS Infrastructure Services

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Setting and maintaining the highest standards for safety and actively promoting a world‑class safety culture in all aspects of operational procedure.
• Driving continuous improvement efforts on infrastructure through standardization of procedures and policies, while delivering performance against agreed metrics.
• Enabling the operations organization to deliver 100% uptime on all customer‑supporting infrastructure.
• Collaborating effectively with internal & external stakeholders to deliver operational excellence for all AWS customers.
• Following the standard operating procedures and tracking issues through a Trouble Ticket system.
• Prioritizing appropriately in a complex, fast‑paced environment.
• Assessing incoming rack power requirements to ensure adequate system capacity.
• Conducting pre‑delivery circuit testing to verify proper functionality.
• Performing rack energization, including battery and automatic transfer switch testing.
• Installing and organizing cabling infrastructure and containment systems for rack equipment.
• Executing comprehensive system walkthroughs to confirm proper rack installation and updating related monitoring systems.
• Familiarizing with rack operational sequences to address potential issues during testing procedures.
• Performing system walk‑throughs to verify proper installation of racks and updating related monitoring systems.

• Instalación y organización de la infraestructura de cableado y sistemas de contención para equipos de rack.
• Ejecutar recorridos completos del sistema para confirmar la instalación adecuada de los racks y actualizar los sistemas de monitoreo relacionados.
• Familiarizarse con las secuencias operativas de los racks para abordar posibles problemas durante los procedimientos de prueba.
• Realizar recorridos del sistema para verificar la instalación adecuada de los racks y actualizar sus Sistemas de Monitoreo relacionados.

Physical Requirements

• Availability to move between local sites on a daily basis.
• Work at heights and from ladders.
• Perform physical tasks on a daily basis.
• Work in a noisy environment with ear protection.
• Wear personal protection equipment (PPE).

• FP (Electrical) or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory.

• May require working in cramped spaces or elevated locations.
• Ability to lift up to 20kg and stand for extended periods.
• Valid work authorization in Spain.
• English B1 level or equivalent, with emphasis on written comprehension and expression.
• Experience with hand tools and technical assembly preferred.
• FP (Eléctrico) o experiencia equivalente.
• Conocimiento de competencias y teoría eléctrica clave.
• Manejo de software ofimática, hojas de cálculo.
• Con nivel B1 o equivalente, con énfasis en comprensión y expresión escrita.
