Job summary

Contemporary Star Energy in Zaragoza, Spain, seeks a Database Specialist to provide day-to-day technical support for database systems, optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the design and implementation of reliable and efficient database solutions.

Your profile includes a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a computing field, professional experience in database administration or engineering, strong SQL and database architecture knowledge, and the ability to evaluate

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Professional experience in database administration, database engineering, or a similar technical role.
• Strong knowledge of database technologies, SQL, database architecture, and performance optimization.
• Experience in database troubleshooting, fault resolution, and technical problem-solving.
• Ability to evaluate database technologies and contribute to technical solution design and implementation.
• Understanding of database security, reliability, backup and recovery, and best practices.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide technical guidance and training.
• English proficiency at C1 level, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of Chinese will be considered a plus.
• Availability to work on-site at our offices in Zaragoza, Spain.

Contemporary Star Energy is a joint venture created by Stellantis and CATL to advance affordable and sustainable electric mobility in Europe. Bringing together global automotive leadership and next-generation battery innovation, we lead the evolution of cleaner and smarter mobility. Our large-scale, carbon-neutral battery manufacturing project contributes to the European electrification ecosystem and supports the regional supply chain for battery production.

Strategically located next to Stellantis´ plant in Zaragoza, Spain, the Gigafactory will produce next-generation lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries with a capacity of up to 50 GWh.
