A global leader in data services is seeking a Data Technician in Sevilla to develop and update automotive databases with information from manufacturers. Ideal candidates will have a qualification in automotive technology or engineering, at least 1 year of experience, and skills in data analysis and collaboration. Formación

  • High-Level Technical qualification in automotive technology or Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical engineering.
  • Detailed knowledge in automotive repairs and processes.
  • Good understanding of other kinds of vehicles; trucks, motorbikes, agriculture, etc.
  • At least 1 year of practical experience in automotive industry car repairs.
  • Fluent Windows and MS Office user.
  • Proficient user knowledge of Automotive Documentation.
  • B1 English skills as a minimum.

Responsabilidades

  • Research and analyze Manufacturer data.
  • Develop automotive database with technical information provided by manufacturer.
  • Produce data files at agreed quality.
  • Improve data file quality in line with targets.
  • Collaborate with Data & Content Creation team.
  • Provide input for production plans and forecasts.
  • Analyze output reports and initiate corrective action.
  • Keep up-to-date with new vehicle releases and technologies.

Conocimientos

Technical qualification in automotive technology
Knowledge in automotive repairs
Understanding of various vehicle types
Proficient in Windows and MS Office
Knowledge of Automotive Documentation
B1 English skills

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering

The Role

We are looking for a Data Technician that will develop and update our Solera Databases with all necessary information coming from Automotive Manufacturers.

What You’ll Do
  • Research and analyze Manufacturer data
  • Accurately develop our automotive database with technical information provided by manufacturer
  • Produce the quantity of data files at the quality agreed periodically
  • Improve the quality of the data files in line with company targets
  • Collaborate actively with the Data & Content Creation team
  • Provide input for the preparation of production plans and forecasts
  • Analyze output reports and initiate corrective action
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of new vehicle releases and new technologies

  • Detailed knowledge in automotive repairs and processes
  • Good understanding of other kinds of vehicles; trucks, motorbikes, agriculture, etc.
