Job summary

Sixense Satellite, a VINCI Construction subsidiary, seeks a Data Scientist to advance the Atlas InSAR processing chain. You will blend remote sensing, geophysics, and applied machine learning to maintain and extend core capabilities and build new features.

This hands-on role sits at the intersection of remote sensing, geophysics, and ML, focusing on scalable pipelines and production-grade tools for ground deformation monitoring.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Geophysics, Remote Sensing, or related field.
• Hands-on ML experience with CNNs and frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Strong Python skills with NumPy/SciPy/xarray.
• Experience with geospatial/remote sensing data (SAR/InSAR a plus).
• Ability to develop production-grade data pipelines and analyze large datasets.
• Excellent English communication, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize InSAR processing tools and chain.
• Implement new features to expand processing capabilities.
• Design and deploy CNN-based models for phase unwrapping, atmospheric correction, and anomaly detection.
• Work with large SAR datasets and build scalable pipelines.
• Collaborate with geophysicists, radar engineers, and software developers to translate research into production tools.
• Validate model outputs against ground truth and domain expertise; iterate accordingly.
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
