Job summary

Sixense Satellite, a VINCI Construction subsidiary, seeks an InSAR Processing Expert to advance our satellite ground deformation monitoring services. You will handle operational InSAR projects and contribute to the development of our processing chain, delivering high-quality products for infrastructure safety.

You will collaborate with post-processing, product management, and sales teams to tailor deliverables, participate in R&D studies, and document methodologies for internal knowledge

Qualifications

• A MSc/PhD in Data Science, Geophysics, Remote Sensing, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Remote Sensing.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR).
• Excellent written and oral English required. GIS experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Process SAR images using Atlas/Atlas+ processing chains.
• Collaborate with post-processing to define project strategies and deliverables.
• Develop algorithms and tools using AI and other cutting-edge technologies.
• Contribute to R&D studies focused on satellite remote sensing and data science solutions.

Sixense Satellite, a subsidiary of VINCI Construction, is a leading player in satellite-based ground monitoring. About The Role

Sixense Satellite is looking for an InSAR Processing Expert to join our team and help develop our InSAR (Interferometric Synthetic Aperture Radar) services. You will work on operational InSAR projects and help our clients keep their infrastructure safe by delivering advanced satellite-based ground deformation monitoring products.

This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to tackle real-world challenges and see their work make a direct impact on infrastructure safety.

What You'll Do

• Processing satellite Synthetic Aperture Radar images with Atlas and Atlas+ processing chain.
• Liaise with the post-processing team to define the best strategies and deliverables for each project.
• Develop algorithms and tools for new applications and methodologies, using artificial intelligence and/or other cutting-edge technologies.
• Take part in R&D studies, mainly focused on satellite remote sensing and data science solutions.
• Join internal technical meetings and work with the product manager and sales teams to respond to customer requests.
• Interact with industrial and academic partners to present the results of your work.
• Contribute to technical documentation and internal knowledge sharing.

What We're Looking For

• Degree (MSc/PhD) in Data Science, Computer Science, Geophysics, Remote Sensing, Applied Mathematics, or a related field
• Demonstrated knowledge in the field of Remote Sensing with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• Experience in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
• Knowledge and programming experience in: Python, Matlab, C++ and/or similar programming language.
• Excellent written and oral reporting skills in English are mandatory.
• Experience in GIS systems.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines, attain operational objectives assigned by management.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently on open-ended problems
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team

Nice To Have

• French or Spanish would be a valued skill.
• Comprehension of civil engineering and geotechnics would be a valued skill.
• Experience in Optical imagery processing would be a valued skill.
