Amaris Consulting in Barcelona seeks a Senior Data Scientist to lead AI/ML initiatives across production environments, collaborating with an international team in an agile setting.

The role requires 5+ years experience, Python expertise, DL frameworks, and Spanish fluency; you will develop end-to-end solutions, build data pipelines, and deploy models using cloud and big data tools. You will work on forecasting, CV, NLP, and Generative AI projects, with opportunities for rapid growth.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, ML Engineer, or similar role.
• Proficiency with Python for ML/AI development.
• Experience with DL frameworks (TensorFlow and/or PyTorch).
• Knowledge of ML algorithms, neural networks, model evaluation, and Git.
• Familiarity with AWS, Databricks, MongoDB, Airflow, Jenkins, and Big Data
• Proven end-to-end ML project development and deployment in production.
• Advanced proficiency in Spanish (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Develop, prototype, and deploy AI and Machine Learning solutions to address complex business challenges.
• Create rapid Proofs of Concept using Python, Streamlit, and Machine Learning frameworks.
• Design, optimize, and maintain data pipelines, models, and analytical solutions to ensure scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver impactful data-driven solutions.
• Participate in the development of forecasting models, optimization algorithms, recommendation systems, Computer Vision, NLP, and Generative AI initiatives.
• Implement Machine Learning and Deep Learning models in production environments using cloud and Big Data technologies.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies in AI, ML, DL, Computer Vision, NLP, and Generative AI

WHAT WOULD YOU NEED?

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency with Python for Machine Learning and AI development.
• Experience with Deep Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and/or PyTorch.
• Solid knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms, neural networks, model evaluation techniques, and software development best practices, as well as version control tools such as Git.
• Familiarity with AWS services (S3, Lambda), Databricks, MongoDB, Apache Airflow, Jenkins, and Big Data technologies.
• Proven experience with end-to-end Machine Learning project development and deployment in production environments.
• Advanced proficiency in Spanish (written and spoken).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
