Amaris Consulting seeks a hands-on Data Engineer to join an international team focused on building a scalable, well-governed data platform. You will work with Databricks, Dataverse, and Power BI to deliver dashboards and analytics while advancing data governance across enterprise data assets.

Fluent English is required; you will collaborate with stakeholders to implement modern data architectures and support AI initiatives in a dynamic environment.

Formación

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar data-focused role.
• Strong proficiency with SQL and Databricks SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, including Data Modeling, DAX, Power Query, and dashboard creation from scratch.

Responsabilidades

• Design and maintain scalable data models and data structures.
• Build and optimize data integration and transformation pipelines.
• Develop and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models.
• Support data migration and modernization initiatives using Databricks and Dataverse.
• Implement data governance, metadata management, and data quality best practices.
• Support the adoption of Unity Catalog, data lineage, and access management.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver trusted and actionable data solutions.
• Contribute to the evolution of a modern data platform supporting reporting, analytics, and future AI initiatives.

We are looking for a hands‑on data professional with experience in data engineering, analytics, and Power BI, capable of helping build a modern, scalable, and well‑governed data platform. Fluent English is required as part of this role.

WHAT WOULD YOU NEED?

• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar data-focused role.
• Strong proficiency with SQL and Databricks SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with Power BI, including Data Modeling, DAX, Power Query, and dashboard creation from scratch.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data integration.
• Experience working with large volumes of data in enterprise environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Databricks and Dataverse.
• Familiarity with Data Governance, Metadata Management, and Unity Catalog.
• Understanding of data architecture and analytics best practices.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work autonomously in dynamic environments.
