Allianz Technology is seeking a data engineer to design and optimize data pipelines, build scalable data models, and maintain data marts. You will collaborate with analysts and stakeholders, implement robust ETL processes, and drive data quality across complex warehousing environments.

The role emphasizes migration to dbt and Snowflake, cloud platforms, and an agile mindset. English communication is essential, with German as a plus, and a strong focus on data-driven customer insights.

Formación

• Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Proven design, development and operation of complex data warehouse environments.
• Strong SQL and ETL skills; experience with dbt and Snowflake for data models/pipelines.
• Familiar with cloud data platforms and ecosystem tools; strong teamwork and communication.
• Enjoys agile teamwork; continuous learning mindset.
• Confident English; basic German is a plus.
• Passion for data-driven solutions to improve customer experiences.
• Machine learning knowledge is a strong advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and optimize data pipelines and models to drive insights.
• Operate and maintain data marts; prepare Oracle systems for migration to dbt and Snowflake.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and pipelines using dbt and Snowflake.
• Collaborate with analytics and business to translate requirements into solutions.
• Implement data transformation to ensure quality, consistency and reliability.
• Optimize database performance and query execution for efficient data retrieval.
• Develop documentation and train team members on data product functionalities.
