Job summary

Wiris, a software development company headquartered in Barcelona, is seeking a Data & Integrations Engineer. You will design and build reliable data pipelines, data models, and business automations across the company data ecosystem, aligned with Data team standards and AWS architecture to enable trusted data for decision-making.

You will collaborate with Data Analysts to translate requirements into clean datasets, implement data quality checks, and support cross-functional teams, while

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or backend/data roles.
• Educational background in CS/Engineering/Math/Statistics/Data Science or equivalent.
• Strong practical knowledge of SQL and Python (including pandas).
• Experience with cloud-based data architecture, preferably AWS (S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, StepFunctions).
• Experience using Git and collaborative workflows (PRs, CI/CD).
• Ability to build integrations using APIs, scheduled jobs, and serverless workflows.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Nice-to-have: CRM/ERP (Salesforce, NetSuite), BI tools (Tableau), orchestrators (Airflow), Docker/Terraform.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and analytical data models in AWS.
• Develop automations, integration scripts, APIs, and scheduled workflows connecting product databases, CRM/ERP, and licensing systems.
• Prepare and transform structured and semi-structured data for analytics and reporting.
• Implement data quality checks and troubleshoot production incidents in data flows.
• Collaborate with Data Analysts to translate analytical requirements into clean datasets and support internal teams.
