Morningstar DBRS is seeking a Data Governance Analyst to shape how credit data is organized and governed for analytics, reporting, and AI-enabled products. This role sits in the Data Products Team and collaborates with Product, Technology, Compliance, Data Management, and AI Enablement.

You'll lead metadata management, data lineage, and data quality initiatives, work with stakeholders to resolve issues, and ensure regulatory alignment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 4–5 years of relevant financial data experience; fixed income data a plus.
• Proficiency with data collection, analysis, and validation tools.
• Experience with SQL and data governance tools such as Collibra, Alation, DataHub, Purview.
• Experience with large data sets and database management.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of fixed income, credit ratings, or capital markets.
• Experience with Python.
• Familiarity with data governance best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Lead data governance and AI-readiness initiatives.
• Investigate and resolve data issues with stakeholders.
• Align data requirements with regulatory standards.
• Provide data assets to AI engines and downstream apps.
• Serve as a contact for data inconsistencies and maintenance.
• Review data requirements for new initiatives.
• Coordinate data validation across systems.
• Support external data feeds and resolve client data issues.
• Contribute to data process optimization projects.
• Monitor data accuracy dashboards and queries.
