Q-tech is recruiting for a data engineering role within its Cybersecurity – Vulnerability team in Barcelona. You will help build a platform that centralizes and processes vulnerability data at scale, enabling security and operations worldwide.

You will design and develop systems processing millions of events daily, build batch and real-time data pipelines, and write production-grade Python and backend logic. Collaboration with backend, frontend, and product teams drives architectural decisions.

Formación

• Experience with PySpark and large-scale data processing.
• Background in data pipelines (ELT).
• Knowledge of distributed and event-driven systems.
• Engineering mindset – build scalable, maintainable systems.
• Comfortable in international environments (English required).

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop systems processing millions of events daily.
• Build batch and real-time data pipelines.
• Write production-grade Python and backend logic.
• Integrate data from multiple sources: Splunk, ServiceNow, Salesforce.
• Model and structure data for efficient consumption.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and availability.
• Develop monitoring and alerting solutions for reliability.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, and product teams.
• Participate in architecture discussions and propose improvements.
• Contribute to the future evolution of AI-driven analytics.
• Work with PySpark, Kafka, Airflow, DBT.
• Adopt microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Cloud: GCP.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and automation across repositories.
