HCLTech Palma de Mallorca busca un Data Engineer experto en Python, Pandas y NumPy para unirse a nuestro equipo en Islas Baleares. La persona seleccionada trabajará en ingesta de datos, limpieza, transformación y desarrollo de pipelines ETL/ELT en entornos productivos.

Se valorará experiencia en DevOps, CI/CD, cloud (Azure u otros), y en transformar prototipos analíticos en soluciones listas para producción, manteniendo escalabilidad, rendimiento y seguridad.

Formación

• Experiencia práctica desarrollando soluciones empresariales en Python con Pandas y NumPy.
• Sólida experiencia en ingeniería de datos: ingesta, limpieza, transformación, validación y enriquecimiento.
• Diseño e implementación de pipelines ETL/ELT escalables y mantenibles.
• Desarrollo de marcos y componentes reutilizables para procesamiento de datos a gran escala.
• Optimización de pipelines para rendimiento, fiabilidad y eficiencia operativa.
• Buenas prácticas de software: código limpio, modular, pruebas y revisión de código.
• Experiencia con grandes conjuntos de datos en entornos productivos.
• Capacidad para convertir prototipos analíticos en soluciones de producción.
• Conocimiento de DevOps y ciclo de entrega de software.
• Diseño y mantenimiento de CI/CD para build, pruebas, despliegue y releases.
• Gestión de artefactos, paquetes y librerías en Python.
• Monitoreo, logging, alerting y observabilidad en servicios productivos.
• Familiaridad con plataformas en la nube (Azure u otros).
• Gestión de stakeholders y colaboración con equipos multidisciplinares.
• Mentalidad orientada a escalabilidad, robustez y seguridad.
• Capacidad de llevar soluciones de desarrollo a industrialización y soporte continuo.

• Soportar y depurar aplicaciones en entornos productivos.

Our goal is to strengthen the brand in Spain. We are looking for an expert to work as Data Engineer!

• Extensive hands-on experience developing enterprise-grade solutions in Python, with advanced expertise in Pandas and NumPy.
• Strong background in data engineering, including data ingestion, preprocessing, cleansing, transformation, validation, and enrichment.
• Design and implementation of scalable and maintainable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Development of reusable frameworks and components for large-scale data processing.
• Optimization of data pipelines for performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Application of software engineering best practices, including clean code, modular design, testing, and code reviews.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets in production environments.
• Ability to transform analytical prototypes into production-ready solutions.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles and software delivery lifecycle.
• Design and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, deployment, and release processes.
• Experience creating and managing Python deployment artifacts, packages, and libraries.
• Implementation of monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability capabilities for production services.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting applications in production environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure and/or other cloud environments)
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Results-oriented mindset focused on scalability, robustness, security, and operational excellence.
• Proven ability to take solutions end-to-end, from development through industrialization, deployment, and ongoing support.
