Job summary

Responsibilities

eDreams ODIGEO operates a global travel subscription platform. Its Prime subscription provides members with access to flights, hotels, rail, dynamic packages, car rentals, and other travel services, powered by a proprietary AI platform.

Задачи:

• Design, build, and optimize scalable, high-throughput data products and infrastructure for Performance Marketing AI strategies.
• Help define the Data Engineering team’s long-term technical strategy and keep infrastructure modern, cost-efficient, resilient, and aligned with Big Data and Cloud trends.
• Build technical consensus across stakeholders, identify opportunities, and communicate technical solutions to non-technical colleagues.
• Analyze complex pipeline issues and design solutions that maximize business value.

Требования:

• Build, scale, and deliver engineering solutions at speed, with strong technical knowledge of Big Data and Cloud infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance and hands‑on development for large‑scale data initiatives, including ETL/ELT, data modeling, data applications, and reverse ETL.
• Design and implement solutions to mitigate data loss, protect data privacy, and maintain data quality across online marketing data.
• Use AI coding assistants to improve code quality and delivery speed.
• Have proven experience with data orchestrators such as Airflow and Dagster.
• Deliver complex data projects involving multiple stakeholders, monitor progress, and mitigate timeline and technical risks.
• Have proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, including iterative development, daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Give and receive feedback through code reviews and data model deep dives, and mentor and coach team members.
• Communicate complex data concepts and architectures to technical and business stakeholders.
• Apply analytical thinking to validate hypotheses, ensure data quality, solve complex problems, and understand the business value of data.
• Collaborate effectively in a multicultural environment and value diverse perspectives.
• Be proficient in English.
• Будет плюсом: experience with Vertex AI or AI‑powered coding assistants such as CLine or Copilot, interest in integrating AI‑driven solutions into data engineering workflows, designing data pipelines and structures optimized for AI products, willingness to experiment with new technologies and frameworks, adaptability to AI features, LLM capabilities, and evolving data processing standards.
