Job summary

Savify AG is seeking an experienced data engineer to design and operate scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in a remote, international setting. You will work with SAP, Abacus, DATEV and Excel data to unlock fast, secure access for analytics and negotiations.

You'll build robust data models for spend, suppliers, contracts and savings, improve data quality, implement privacy controls, and provide datasets for ML and reporting. Fluency in German or English is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data engineering
• Strong SQL, Python and a cloud data stack such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Postgres or dbt
• Experience with ERP exports
• Fluent German or English

Make customer data from supplier ledgers, invoices and contracts available quickly, securely and reliably as the foundation for analysis and negotiations.

Your responsibilities

• Build and operate ETL/ELT pipelines for SAP, Abacus, DATEV and Excel data
• Design data models for spend, suppliers, contracts and savings
• Improve data quality through deduplication, supplier matching and normalisation
• Implement privacy, access controls and tenant separation
• Provide datasets for ML, reporting and negotiators

Your profile

• 3+ years of data engineering
• Strong SQL, Python and a cloud data stack such as BigQuery, Snowflake, Postgres or dbt
• Experience with ERP exports
• Fluent German or English

Nice to have

• SAP MM/FI tables, Airflow/Dagster and consulting or multi-tenant SaaS experience.

Responsibility and collaboration

• Professional; no line-management responsibility; reports to Head of AI / CTO.

• Standard customer data intake completed in under three days rather than weeks.
