A leading technology company in Spain, Andalucía is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to develop and enhance their Azure-based BI platform. You will work on data architectures, implement ETL pipelines, and ensure data quality. Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 5 years' experience, strong skills in Azure, and proficiency in English. This role offers a permanent position with various benefits.

Formación

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a data engineer, possibly also as a data analyst or data scientist.
• Experience in implementing cloud-based BI architectures with Azure.
• Knowledge of data modeling, development of ETL pipelines, and reports in Power BI.
• Knowledge of ML/AI and DevOps engineering with Azure DevOps is an advantage.
• Fluent English (C1+).

As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in the development and application of our Azure-based BI platform. You understand both the central issues facing our customers and the importance of data in the context of business processes. On this basis, you will develop data architectures, implement ETL pipelines, and provide BI reports.

Every year, we process millions of business‑critical documents and data (including for order and invoice processing) between thousands of companies from various industries. With our FXM platform, we enable decision‑makers to draw important conclusions from this data for strategic decisions.

Your role

• Develop our Azure‑based BI platform from the data lake to the Power BI report.
• Analyze data structures from various source systems and model the BI architecture.
• Place great importance on quality, consistency, and data protection and security.
• Deliver a cost‑efficient, scalable, and high‑performance platform that creates added value.
• Work closely with other roles, including senior management, as part of a cross‑functional team.

Your profile

• At least 5 years of professional experience as a data engineer, possibly also as a data analyst or data scientist.
• Experience in implementing cloud‑based BI architectures with Azure.
• Knowledge of data modeling, development of ETL pipelines, and reports in Power BI.
• Knowledge of ML/AI and DevOps engineering with Azure DevOps is an advantage.
• Fluent English (C1+); additional languages welcome.
