A leading technology firm is seeking a Data Engineer experienced in DBT and AWS to design and implement master data pipelines. The role requires strong skills in data modeling, workflow automation, and data quality, with responsibilities such as analyzing requirements, defining data quality rules, and integrating workflows. Candidates should have 3+ years of experience, be fluent in English and Spanish, and have a relevant educational background.

Formación

  • 3+ years of experience implementing DBT workflows.
  • Experience integrating DBT with enterprise systems (MDM, CRM, etc.).
  • Strong hands-on skills with AWS, especially Lambda and Glue.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in agile teams.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (both spoken and written) – mandatory.

Data Engineer – DBT & AWS for Master Data Pipelines
100% Remote – Spain

We are looking for a Data Engineer with proven experience in DBT and AWS environments to design and implement master data pipelines for a retail network. This role combines data modeling, workflow automation, and data quality in a cloud-native context.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze business and technical requirements related to master data.
  • Define data quality rules.
  • Design and implement:
    • Data models and validation rules.
    • Lifecycle workflows in AWS.
    • Data pipelines using DBT to ingest data into master tables.
  • Integrate DBT into the AWS environment.
  • Connect workflows with external systems (MDM, CRM, etc.).
  • Conduct unit, integration, performance, and data quality testing.
  • Deliver technical and functional documentation and support the initial adoption phase.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience implementing DBT workflows.
  • Experience integrating DBT with enterprise systems (MDM, CRM, etc.).
  • Strong hands-on skills with AWS, especially Lambda and Glue.
  • Proficiency in SQL and data transformation techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally in agile teams.
