Avenga is seeking a Data Engineering Practitioner to lead the design and implementation of large-scale data solutions in healthcare, focusing on data engineering, databases, and Talend-related tasks.

You will mentor junior engineers, set technical standards, and drive data governance, security, and resilience across distributed data platforms and data warehouses.

We are actively seeking a Data Engineering Practitioner to join project in healthcare industry, focusing on Data Engineering, Database, and Talend-related tasks.

In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of complex data engineering solutions, setting technical standards and mentoring junior team members. This position requires deep expertise in distributed data systems, cloud data platforms, and advanced ETL/ELT patterns, enabling you to architect scalable data warehouses and data lakes, troubleshoot intricate performance issues, and ensure the resilience and security of critical data infrastructure. You will drive technical excellence, contribute significantly to data governance, and influence the team's architectural decisions.

This is you

• Extensive experience leading the design, implementation, and construction of complex data engineering solutions and large-scale data architectures.
• Proven track record of leading high-impact projects that shape enterprise-level data infrastructure and developing long-term data architecture strategies.
• Demonstrated experience contributing significantly to data governance and ensuring the resilience and security of critical data infrastructure.
• Expert proficiency in multiple programming languages and Big Data technologies.
• Knowledge of Talend.
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems, cloud data platforms, and advanced ETL/ELT patterns.
• Proven capability to architect scalable data warehouses and data lakes, and to troubleshoot intricate system performance issues.
• Strong AWS expertise.
• Strong Database expertise.
• Scrum Master expertise would be beneficial.

This is your role

• Lead the design and construction of large-scale data architectures, overseeing and mentoring junior engineers while driving technical excellence and setting standards across the team.
• Solve highly complex data engineering problems and troubleshoot intricate performance issues, ensuring critical data infrastructure remains highly scalable, secure, resilient, and efficient.
• Liaise with senior leadership to align on data strategy and organizational needs, guiding and directing technical teams and influencing architectural decisions.
• Lead high-impact projects that significantly shape the organization's data infrastructure, developing long-term data architecture strategies and contributing to data governance initiatives.
• Manage enterprise-level data systems and infrastructure, designing and implementing advanced data processing frameworks, scalable data warehouses, and data lakes.
• Act as an expert in multiple programming languages and Big Data technologies, demonstrating deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud data platforms, advanced ETL/ELT patterns, and data architecture best practices.
