Avenga is seeking a Data Engineering Practitioner to join a healthcare project, focusing on data engineering, databases and Talend tasks. You will design and implement complex data pipelines and mentor junior engineers while setting technical standards across the team.

You will work with distributed data systems, cloud platforms and advanced ETL/ELT patterns to architect scalable data warehouses and data lakes, troubleshoot performance issues, and uphold data governance, security and resilience.

Formación

• Extensive experience leading design and construction of large-scale data architectures.
• Proven track record leading enterprise data infrastructure projects.
• Experience contributing to data governance and security of critical data infrastructure.
• Expert proficiency in multiple programming languages and Big Data technologies.
• Knowledge of Talend.
• Deep expertise in distributed data systems and cloud data platforms.
• Proven ability to architect scalable data warehouses and data lakes.
• Strong AWS expertise.
• Scrum Master expertise would be beneficial.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and construction of large-scale data architectures, overseeing and mentoring junior engineers while driving technical excellence and setting standards across the team.
• Solve highly complex data engineering problems and troubleshoot intricate performance issues, ensuring critical data infrastructure remains highly scalable, secure, resilient, and efficient.
• Liaise with senior leadership to align on data strategy and organizational needs, guiding and directing technical teams and influencing architectural decisions.
• Lead high-impact projects that significantly shape the organization's data infrastructure, developing long-term data architecture strategies and contributing to data governance initiatives.
• Manage enterprise-level data systems and infrastructure, designing and implementing advanced data processing frameworks, scalable data warehouses, and data lakes.
