DayOne in Madrid is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Manager to lead electrical design for data center projects, ensuring robust, compliant systems from power distribution to backup power and cooling. You will collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.

The role requires a strong track record in data center infrastructure, leadership, and excellent communication in English; a PE license is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8–10 years of electrical design experience, preferably in data centers.
• Expertise in power distribution, UPS, generators, and cooling systems.
• PE license or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, IEC, and local regulations.
• Proven project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; English fluency is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the electrical design process for data center projects.
• Coordinate with PMs, architects, and engineers to integrate designs.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure compliance with standards.
• Conduct design reviews for accuracy and feasibility.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with vendors to specify equipment.
• Prepare and review design documentation and reports.
