Job summary

IREN is seeking an experienced Mechanical & Electrical Project Manager to lead MEP construction scopes for data center facilities. You will coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, cooling, fire protection, and related infrastructure, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, quality, and performance requirements for mission‑critical environments.

Qualifications

• At least 8–10 years of experience in MEP construction management
• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems for data centers or high‑performance facilities
• Familiarity with building codes, electrical and mechanical standards, safety regulations, and data center design practices
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, shop drawings, RFIs, equipment submittals, commissioning documents, and construction schedules

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of MEP construction scopes by coordinating mechanical, electrical, plumbing, cooling, fire protection, controls, and associated infrastructure works to ensure safe, timely, high‑quality delivery of data center facilities
• Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces between design, construction, procurement, commissioning, operations, contractors, consultants, utilities, and vendors by aligning technical requirements and handover needs
• Review MEP drawings, specifications, method statements, material submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and technical documentation for constructability and alignment with performance, reliability, safety, and sustainability requirements
• Supervise contractors and site teams by monitoring progress, productivity, quality, safety, resources, and adherence to schedules to drive field delivery
• Manage construction‑phase risks, issues, changes, and technical deviations with impacts on cost, schedule, safety, quality, commissioning, and operations
• Support procurement and contract administration for MEP packages through scope definition, evaluations, vendor coordination, delivery follow‑up, and cost control
• Oversee inspection, testing, pre‑commissioning, commissioning readiness, and handover activities coordinating quality records and punch lists
• Promote continuous improvement and compliance across MEP activities aligned with IREN’s standards throughout the project lifecycle
