Job summary

IQVIA Madrid is seeking a Data Analyst with SAS/SQL programming and fluent German to join the Real-World Solutions team in Madrid. The role involves running analyses, delivering client reports, and collaborating with project managers within a multidisciplinary, international environment.

You will work on real-world evidence and epidemiology projects for pharmaceutical clients, using qualitative and quantitative data, and communicating findings in German and English.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in life sciences or related field.
• Experience in data analysis, biostatistics, or epidemiology & knowledge of at least one statistical programming language.
• Programming in SAS or knowledge in the analysis of healthcare data is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills in German and English; client-facing as needed.
• Team player in an international multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient with Office tools, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently within a project team.

Responsibilities

• Performing strategic analyses (recurrent and ad hoc) to derive trends, conclusions, and actionable recommendations for clients.
• Evaluating secondary data on markets, physicians, pharmacists, patients, and products.
• Collaborating with the client’s BI units and project managers.
• Creating reports, presentations, and other client deliverables.
