SIX's Data Acquisition team is seeking a candidate to shape the financial data procurement strategy and manage supplier relationships globally. You will drive end-to-end commercial and contractual processes and monitor supplier performance to ensure compliance and value delivery.

With deep knowledge of financial markets and strong English communication, you will lead cost optimization, report KPIs, and collaborate across Product, Operations and Projects to onboard new data partners.

Formación

• Experience negotiating data supplier contracts and terms.
• Strong understanding of data procurement and supplier management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end commercial and contractual relationships with assigned data suppliers, including contract negotiation and reviews.
• Review and monitor allocated suppliers and relevant agreements according to compliance regulations.
• Actively maintain a database for supplier strategic issues and report market trends to internal stakeholders.
• Manage overall data acquisition costs and report KPI figures; create negotiation plans and internal project reporting.
• Identify and drive new data opportunities and implement new suppliers with internal stakeholders.

Would you like to work closely with global data suppliers as well as develop the financial data procurement strategy of SIX? Do you have excellent knowledge of financial markets with focus on financial data (exchanges, rating agencies, contributors, etc.), technical expertise and project management skills? Then, our Data Acquisition team wants to hear from you! We are a high-performance and innovative team that manages relationships with our suppliers as well as working on the evaluation of an innovative procurement strategy.

What You Will Do

• responsible for the end-to-end commercial and contractual relationship of assigned data suppliers, including but not limited to contract negotiation, contract reviews, supplier relationship management, risk analysis etc.
• review and monitoring of allocated suppliers including relevant documentation (agreements) and according to compliance regulations
• actively maintain a database for supplier strategic issues as well as growing the existing supplier portfolio, based on strategic requirements. Keep a close eye on developments within the financial data industry, analyze and report market trends via the data acquisition newsletter to internal stakeholders
• manage overall data acquisition cost and report KPI figures , create negotiation plans as well as , internal project reporting and to ad-hoc inquiries
• identify and drive new data opportunities and implement new suppliers in close cooperation with the relevant internal stakeholders (Product Management, Operations, Project Management, etc.)

What You Bring

• eager to automate processes and improve efficiency through smart, practical solution
• good understanding of automation tools and technologies, including VBA, Python, Power BI, and AI-supported ways of working
• highly valuable strong knowledge of financial markets, with a focus on financial data such as exchanges, rating agencies, contributors and related data providers
• high interest in legal and contractual topics, or relevant experience in a similar position
• flexible team player with perseverance, strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently and a clear “get-it-done” mindset
• confident using technology to simplify workflows and automate existing processes
• excellent oral and written communication skills in English, combined with a strong commercial mindset, confidence in negotiations and a proven track record in achieving value-driven negotiation outcomes; any other language is advantageous
