Job summary

Navy Region Europe, Africa, Central Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking a CYP Assistant in Rota, Spain. The role supports children and youth with engaging activities, social development, and safety, under DoD guidelines.

The position is part-time (20–34 hours per week), permanent, with a pay range of $18.71–$25.33 per hour. Incentives include a $1,000 retention bonus and 8 hours of time off, with standard program oversight and background checks.

Qualifications

• Must provide a copy of your H.S. Diploma, GED, or College Transcripts.
• Must be 18 years of age or older and able to pass required background checks.
• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain necessary clearances.

Responsibilities

• Develops schedules and activity plans accommodating children and youth.
• Implements activities meeting physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs.
• Provides care and supervision following DoD and local policies.
• Interacts with children, youth, and parents to ensure safety and engagement.
• Maintains program records and participates in evaluations.
