Custody – Senior Settlement & Derivatives Officer

General description of the job

As a Custody – Senior Settlement & Derivatives Officer, you will be responsible to manage the whole lifecycle of a financial instrument. In particular this includes the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities

• Booking and validation of securities (DVP/FOP)
• Booking and validation of derivatives transactions
• Processing of mandatory and voluntary Corporate Actions
• Processing of dividends and interest payments
• Processing of complex complaints
• Provide / setup control reports / client reports
• Take‑over of complex inquiries
• Take‑over of complex project activities/project leader
• Active participation in process changes and adaptations
• Point of escalation

Experience and skills

• University degree in Banking/ Finance /Accounting or similar;
• Excellent English spoken and written communication skills;
• Very good computer literacy;
• Understanding the banking industry;
• Good understanding of the Custody business;
• Customer Focus;
• Concern for Quality;
• Willingness and ability to work in a team and meet deadlines;
• Adherence to procedures;
• Attention to detail;
• Very good Excel knowledge
