EMBL Grenoble seeks a Research Technician to support the High Throughput Crystallization Laboratory (HTX Lab) operations and to help advance automated crystallography pipelines. You will work on ligand and fragment screening, clone and express proteins, and manage lab equipment within an international team on site.

The role emphasizes collaboration with researchers, development of new methods, and contributing to EC-funded projects like Fragment Screen.

Formación

• Degree in biochemistry or related field from a technical school or university.
• Experience in protein production for structural studies and crystallization.
• Experience in diffraction data collection or fragment screening.

Responsabilidades

• Operate the automated crystallography platform including liquid handling, imaging and crystal harvesting robots.
• Contribute to development of automated crystallography pipelines for fragment screening using CrystalDirect and CRIMS.
• Perform DNA cloning, protein expression and purification for internal projects.
• Manage orders and consumables for the HTX lab and maintenance of robotic equipment.
• Collaborate on research projects with the team, including fragment screening on biomedical targets.
