Anapharm Bioanalytics in Barcelona is seeking a Junior Scientist/Lab Technician to join the Large Molecule Bioanalysis department, contributing to analytical batch preparation for drug and biomarker quantification using ligand binding assays.

You will support study directors, perform data evaluation, maintain equipment, and help implement new processes. The role requires at least a bachelor’s in biology and GLP/GCP awareness, with English proficiency and team collaboration.

Formación

• PhD, MSc or BSc in biology or related subject.
• Minimum 1-year experience in bioanalytical laboratories.
• Experience with ELISA, MSD or other Ligand Binding techniques.
• GLP/GCP regulations knowledge.
• LIMS systems and cell culture/qPCR experience valued.
• Excellent level of English (Spanish – nice to have).
• MS-Office proficiency.

Junior Scientist/Lab Technician in the Large Molecule Bioanalysis department

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare analytical batches to quantify drugs, anti-drugs antibodies or biomarkers in biological matrices by ligand binding assays (ELISA, MSD) according to international guidelines and internal procedures.
• Perform the evaluation and treatment of results of analytical batches.
• Label proteins with biotin or Sulfo-tag.
• Support the Study Director in: (i) the resolution of problems, (ii) the preparation of SOPs and other study documentation.
• Carry out maintenance and calibration/verification of laboratory equipment.
• Actively support Laboratory Management in evaluating and implementing new processes and equipment.

REQUIRED PROFILE & QUALIFICATIONS

• PhD, MSc or BSc in biology or related subject.
• Minimum 1-year experience in bioanalytical laboratories.
• Experience working with ELISA, MSD or other Ligand Binding techniques.
• Understanding of international bioanalytical guidelines, and experience working under GLP/GCP regulations.
• Experience working with LIMS systems and with cell culture and qPCR techniques will be valued.
• Excellent level of English (Spanish – nice to have).
• Proficiency in MS-Office, especially Word and Excel.
