Job summary

Messer SE & Co. KGaA is seeking an Engineer Static Equipment - Cryo to lead project planning, technical comparisons, and commissioning for cryogenic equipment in an international setting.

You will handle flat-bottom tanks, pressure vessels, cryogenic vacuum tanks, and evaporator systems while ensuring cost, quality and schedule adherence. Applicants should have a mechanical/process engineering degree or certified foreman/technician background, plus 3+ years of relevant experience, with English

Qualifications

• Good verbal and written English skills.
• German language skills are a plus.
• Experience in piping and plant construction or gas generation plants preferred.
• Welding certification or welding engineer is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan projects, perform technical price comparisons, execute projects and commission equipment.
• Work with flat-bottom tanks per DIN 4119, EN 14015, EN 14620.
• Work with pressure vessels per AD 2000, EN 13445.
• Work with cryogenic vacuum tanks per EN 13458.
• Oversee evaporator systems and related equipment.
• Monitor cost, quality and schedule for vessels manufactured.
• Develop standards for ASUs and generators.
• Participate in HAZOP meetings and budget calculations.
