Job summary

Applus IDIADA is seeking a profile to be developed as a crash test engineer and test supervisor, with a training plan to eventually work as either crash test engineer or test supervisor based on workload. The role involves maintaining knowledge of testing protocols, managing customer instructions, and overseeing test preparation and execution.

You will lead teams, review results, and contribute to process improvements within an international automotive testing context.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of testing protocols, standards, regulations, and procedures.
• Understand and manage customer requirements via Test Requests.
• Prepare work instructions for vehicle or test sample preparation.
• Monitor and resolve issues during test preparation.
• Supervise test execution ensuring compliance with standards and customer requirements.
• Review, document and deliver test results and technical reports to customers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Plan and optimize resources and schedules to maximize test capacity.
• Lead and coordinate test execution teams including instrumentation, track technicians, and support staff.
